Since i went to see Keane at their album signing in Birminham.. i actually want to shed a tear, maybe being abit under the weather has something to do with it, but today i would really love to beable to see Tim, Rich an Tom. Its been a while now since ive seen them.. works kinda took over me having days off to get to places i.e Europe!!!! ='( id just love to see them peform right now. an a chat would be nice too. It was a year yesterday since *H O P E S A N D F E A R S* was released.. day to remember for one of the greatest albums i'll own.. roll on the second one =)

Okay Keane moment done with hehe, im not feeling well at the moment. ive caught some sort of chill. i couldnt wait to finish work lastnight. I was finding it hard to stand up without feeling like i was going to fall over. Got home an collapsed on the couch. Watched new series of Bad Girls, taped CSI(will watch it later on tonight) an then i struggled to get in bed. I was freezing along with feeling very unhuman =( i was supposed to be in work today at 8am, but there was no chance. I still dont feel right, i'll just go in tomora an hopefully i'll feel better. Carl isnt in tomora though, will be boring bah!

Im also on the search for a star bag, ebay doesnt seem to have any i like =(

Wowee i got my first ever tattoo!

I got my first ever tattoo today. I went to the tattoo shop just after 10.30. Tooka rough design that id drawn that i wanted doing an the guy (whos lovely) went in the back room to draw it better for me. So whilst he did this he told me how much it would be an so i nipped to the cash machine because i had no idea how much it would of cost. It was only £45, was shocked i thought it would of been more. He did the design on to tracing paper, came to test if the size was okay on my arm, was very cool =)

When he'd sorted it, he took me in the room an asked if id had a tatoo before an i said no. He'd set up the needles an ink pots an he sat me down on a chair an pulled me closer =p (hehe kinky) ahem. anyway he stuck the tracing paper to my arm an when he peeled it off the design was on my skin. He then went to work with the tattoo gun. I cant really describe what its like, i mean in places it stung a lil bit. I think its like you scratching something really really hard with something sharp is best way to describe it. I had chewing gum in my mouth an the radio was on jonathan ross's show with idlewild performing, so that helped =) he was lovely though the guy who did it for me, was very accurate an took time over it. Though all in all it took half an hour an that included him changing the needles a couple of times =) when he'd done it he wrapped it in cling film an said i needed to keep it on for an hour.

I dunno whats up with me to be frank.. since i come home from work its like ive been in my own lil world or something.

I got called a bitch at work today, all because i let a pakki woman know that our printing services were working (?) hmm yeah i dont understand it myself. She asked "is your printing services not working today?" an because i was in the middle of serving a customer i looked at her and went "er yeah" an she went "oh its cos you havent got the big sign up anymore" she was also on the phone at the time, but she freely called me a bitch.. an then as she'd done her shopping as she were walking out the door give me a look that could of killed. I tell ya if she steps foot in the store again, she better watch her face because i'll scratch her eyes out!!!

Working on bank holiday monday is a drag an i think just the general mood of being there today has put me in a down state =( i'm just not happy at all!

I'm on me own in the house tonight too, my mum dad an bro have gone to me uncles for tea.. i didnt wanna go.

I must remember to get a postal order for my webcam tomora.. what dya bet that i forget? =/

Also dunno whats happening about Alton Towers, would be good if we were going cos i need something exciting to cheer me up.

Yaa i'm on the cider.. but why not its friday night after all an the weekends ahead an im not working yay! I might pop down tomora though i forgot to get a rota for next week =/ i know im in on bank holiday monday though, bleh! =( Who wants to buy business machines, office supplies or get things printed on a bank holiday?? People should just stay at home *damn them*

Hmm Lee rang me at half 4 to meet him.. so i did. Just sat in his car chatting for a few minutes - but he drove me home which was good of him. I mean it was good to see him, i havent seen him for nearly 2 months maybe abit longer.. he said he might be allowed in to work on tuesday, whether he wil actually come down then i dont know. I asked him for Carls number today (guy who works at Staples) but he said he doesnt have it, so guess il just have to ask him for it myself... =/

OOH i won the Hello Kitty webcam by the way *dances* need to get payment sent off for that tomora if i can. Hope it works alright with trillian an yahoo for the time being, or possibly for the long run if i cant get MSN sorted out =( what a biatch!

Hmm i think im craving something sweet, might go rave the kitchen...

Having a cider, chilling..

Havent updated for nearly a week so thought id throw my 2 pennies worth in today.

Im feeling happier today than i have for a while, its odd. I think its because ive decided to not let someone bring me down anymore. This person i care for right, but the way hes treated me in the past few weeks has been out of order an even more so the last couple of days this week. I got to a point were i was emotionally exhausted an i need to break free from it before it totally brings me down to a level where i cant get back up. Hanging up the phone when your in mid conversation an given no reason as to why they did that has pissed me off.. its happened twice. No text after its happened to say sorry for cutting out on you etc etc.

I cant be doing with the extra baggage that seems to come with this person. Yes theres a whole load of shit thats gone on with work, an now Lee (yes that is who im talking about) has been sacked! I thought it was innocent until proven guilty but obviously Staples doesnt work that way.. an so now hes been sacked and hes going to sue them for unfair dismissal.. This has questioned my thoughts as to how long im going to stay an work there now. BUT i want to stress that even though this shit has gone on.. i feel Lee has taken alot of it out on me when i havent even done anything, apart from worry about him an want to be there for him to help. But how can you help someone if they keep pushing you away an wont let you in? Ive felt useless. So now ive decided im not going to take this shit anymore! No more ringing him back to waste my credit when he gives me a miss call, no more texting him because i never get a reply. I aint even going to answer my phone to him for a while. If he wants to talk to me that desperatly he'll have to do more than that!

So yeah i feel alot better now ive let that go. Ive also thought about learning how to drive. I think if i do an i got my own car id feel like ive achieved something an it would fulfill a part of me. Also make me feel more grown up i guess too. Its just the money aspect of it, though i have been talking to Garry about it today and hes shone abit of light for me. I think its just justifying it in my head why i should and need to do it.

Its CSI night tonight, woo! Tuesdays was fucking amazing, i swear! It just gets better an better with every episode! I love it to death! I really wish it was on more than just 2 nights a week =( i could watch till the cows come home =p

Went in to work today, i needed a rota. Danni, Tracy an Sarah all complimented me on my hair.. i only had it down, its quite odd but nice =) Danni has also got me some badges aparently as a pressi, so sweet. Neil has handed in his notice, basically because they wont allow him the time off for his exams, how shit is that?! =/ I fear more hours coming on to me though now =( we need more staff an its no joke! Im working on saturday too now. I dont usually work sats but i guess i aint that bothered as id only be moping about at home. I dont want it to be a regular thing though, id have no life!!

Still no tattoo and Linz is trying to sort a weekend out to go to Alton Towers. Should be a good day out when its sorted =)

Atlast its the weekend, i couldnt wait to finish work at 4 yesterday. It had been sucha long week all because of doing alot more hours because its stocktake.. luckily i aint in tomora when its the big day *yay* had enough stress this week. I ended up blacking out on thursday night when i got home. My auntie came to pick me up because my mum dad an bro went to watch a football match and it happened for a couple of mins. Didnt sleep very well that night either.

Today though i feel good, been chatting to Mandy, shes started her training for her new job that will start soon and shes enjoying it so thats really good news :) its also her birthday next week so are planning on going up to see her which would be really nice.

Ive downloaded aload of songs this week that are rather random, i dont know whats going on :p one of them is Will Smiths new song "switch" hes well fit in that video *drools* its the cap an the vest tops i think hah!

Next week i'm prob guna go an get a quote for my tattoo an make them draw it properly so i can really see if it will look okay.

Dunno what else i'm going to get up to today, its quite nice outside, i should be doing something..

Was i in work today for?? I went in at 9am an there were fuck all customers in until atleast 10 o ' clock. also my boss rang an i happened to answer but it wasnt as straight forward as that. I picked up the reciever an ended up pulling the whole phone in to the bin (the phone cord had got stuck around the bin bag) =/ so there was probably alot of russling going on before i managed to get the words "thank you for calling staples in bolton, lisa speaking how can i help?" out bleh, oh well who cares! Impresssed that i keep getting things done on my own with out asking for help. Last week i had to look after the Copy centre mainly on my own as my line manager was on a weeks holiday, it didnt fall apart and sales were up *is proud* i thought it would of all been shambles. I made her a card today too, think she liked it hehe =)

But other than that the store is pissing me off, i think its the pissy customers more than anything at the moment and also not seeing Lee around. Its 2 weeks tomora since i havent seen him. Hes got an interview tomora about the whole suspesion thing, he were on the phone to me just a few mins ago and he had to put the phone down cos he were sick =( i think thats a nervous reaction, though he keeps saying hes nothing to be nervous about but i said it doesnt matter, your body feels things your mind nescessarily doesnt. He obv thinks he has to be macho around me all the time, when he really doesnt have to at all! I wish i were in work when he has it, but im in 2 hours after tut. Do you think thats the spirits way to say its not possible for anything to work?

Update on the tattoo - ive spoken to work mates about it and ive come up with the design - below is rough draft :

Me thinks i'll update ya as i havent written on here for a while..

Not sure what to write though as much hasnt gone on really but i have found myself falling for someone. I find myself thinking about him alot but i dont want to get in to deep like i nearly always do and then end up getting hurt. Hes got my number, he went about it in a weird way heh, we were talking about it lastnight on the phone actually.. this is the thing too we've either spoken or texted everyday since he took my number which was on the 17th of feb i think, i remember cos he was jokingly asking me where his valentines present was. I knew he had a girlfriend though but as we got texting nearly all the time everyday he told me he liked me an i confessed to liking him too but i didnt wanna get involved with someone whos got a girlfriend, thats what usually always happens with me (the person i find myself liking is taken) but he told me one day that he'd finished with her.. to do that after 3 years of going out though i find it hard to believe you can just drop it all.. but he says now he doesnt have a girlfriend.

Hes going thru a rough patch too at work (he works at staples this is how ive been falling for him in recent weeks) but hes been suspended at the moment for something he hasnt even done and so things are trying to be sorted out asap i think as the store could really do without this shite. I miss him not being at work, its not as fun without him around =( an if he has to end up leaving it will be even worse! Im giving him support thru it, i just hope it gets sorted out real soon! Id love to see him more, i havent seen him since he got suspended which was last tuesday (15th) tis been over a week now, i think i might start cracking up soon if i dont see him..

I'm also really gutted i missed going to Europe to see Keane =( meeting up with mates too, its bleh big time!

I have been designing a tattoo for myself though which i'm hoping to get done in 2 weeks time =) its hard thinking what to have done, since its going to be there for a long time.. hmm.. but i have kinda decided what its going to be like. A music note, with angel wings at either side that have blue flames in them and maybe underneath it all a line of checkered squares, the white squares might have dice spots in them. Also deciding where to have it, i'm thinking either base of my back in the middle, or in the middle of my shoulder blades.. decisions eh =p it will get done though, i swear!

Hmm ya might of guessed that i might possibly be tired.. doing 8 hours at work is harsh. Its ok at first but then once the day goes on (slowly) and theres not much to do (unless theres a big job that needs doing) then it gets to a point were i just want to come home =/ i feel i'm hardly here anymore when i'm workin from lunch time to 8 at night, its like i've no life. Yeah its money but whats the point in having it if i've never got time to go out an spend it? Yeah your probably just thinking i'm rambling and it doesnt help that i'm slightly tired.. but it makes some sense doesnt it what i'm saying?

Athlete are one of them, but the date they're in Manchester i'm going to be in Cardiff seeing Doves, an i'm not sure what other date i could go an see them, meh! Brian mcfadden tickets are like WHOA thru the roof kinda prices..i'm literally shocked i have to say.

Meaning will i get to the Embrace gig in manchester on the weekend that they'll be there (26th an 27th feb) i contacted a guy selling a ticket for the 27th an he lives in Bolton so i asked him if he would be up to meeting an doing the swap as i'm really interested in the ticket. He said he would woop, so have to sort out when we can do it *gets excited*

This week at work seemed sooo long.. i've been doing more hours than normal, 8 hour days are so long its mad! Its been knackering me out too. Its nice to have the weekend off but its work again tomora meh. Aparently were doing something special for teachers.. but, its half term so will teachers even be in the schools?

I pre-ordered "looking as you are" Embrace's new single out tomora (Valentines day) from HMV as they had this offer to get all formats for a fiver, so i thought bargain! Hope it doesnt take all week to be delievered though and what a day to release it on.. tis very much a song for then. I dont like valentines day much though, yes probably because i havent got a special someone to share it with..bleh.

Garry wanted me to mention him, to say how great he is but thats not going to happen, id have to do it off my own back not when he told me too soo nur nur *sticks out tongue* =p but i have mentioned you so i hope your happy now!

I had abit of a tidy up today, i put my cds on the new rack thats been waiting in my room for a while.. looks abit better. Put another csi poster up, im waiting to do a collage of all the bands i like sometime soon, will look good i reckon =)

Also just want to say a HUGE congratulations to Keane for winning 2 fully deserved brit awards at this years brits! So so proud of them, i knew it could be done and they've proved it =D

Having left it a few days since i last updated ive actually got some things to write about =)

Where to start.. Well about a week ago now i got talking to this guy from faceparty (i went on it for the first time in ages and randomly sent a message to this guy.. hes called Ali and hes so so lovely! =) getting to know each other and we've lots of stuff in common which is great!

Last thurs it was my cousins 18th birthday.. we went out for a meal to watermillock. Havent been there for a while, hasnt changed that much. The meal i had were quite nice. It was stilton chicken. Were on the cider anyway so that kept me occupied, but actually i thought that i wouldnt get to talk that much to sam (cousin) but i did. Her boyfriend were being abit of a prick really..

Mine, linz and carolyns plans for the weekend were shattered.. so we never got our fun weekend.. i wont say why because its not for me to spread around but it was gutting that i never got to see The killers and also see my mates =( hopefully we'll sort something out soon.

Went to my uncles for tea lastnight (sunday) werent that bored for once as i got to talk to sam as her boyfriend werent there.

I havent had chance to be online much really, i wont this week either, im working from dinnertime until 8pm all week apart from friday and the weekend. Its knackering but if im kept busy the time doesnt seem to drag an if i just think of the money that i'll get from all the hours then its all good.. its just hardly having the time to go an do other things.

Dakota - by Stereophonics is an awesome song!! Its my fave at the moment, i turn the volume right up when i listen to it, its a wicked come back single!! I also found an acoustic version by them of "nothing compares to you" i like it alot! Having a real phonics phase at the moment. Talking of music, its the Brits on thursday - Keane nominated! I hope they can come away with something *fingers crossed*

Its my dads birthday today.. not that ive seen him much with being at work.. i made him a card which i might scan in at some point so i can remember what it looks like.. tis quite cool!

Alsooooo *breaking news* new CSI New York started on saturday! Fantastic stuff! {heart} it! Same with ones on tuesdays too now! Picci i got from a mag at the weekend below =p

Its just a programe that i could sit an watch for ages, its soo fascinating!

I haven't been on the copy centre again at work, its annoying me as thats the job i'm suposed to be employed to do but i'm stuck behind a till all the time for my shifts, bleh =/ we had a meeting at around 8pm lastnight.. Steve our manager was just through the new management and things going on with the store and what things are going to be changed. He's planning on redecorating our canteen so it looks like a proper place were you can relax on our breaks which seems very cool.. same goes for the toilets too.. also the shop floor is going to change, were having windows to put stock in to so customers can actually see it closer up with out having to look behind a desk. Also a big thing... more training! It really is something we all need an hopefully something is going to be set up for us to beable to be trained in all the areas needed! Thats work updating done anywho, moving on to MP3 players now... i had to take my medion back =( it was just a pile of shite bascially.. audiophile that came with it to sort the music out on to it had died. The usb cable wouldnt work to connect it up and when i did have tracks on it.. for example albums.. they wouldnt play one song it would go through all the song titles on that particular album then stop, no music would play, it was just bleh. Sooo, i asked Drinky yesterday if he knew of any good, cheap ones and he came up trumps =D even reserved me one here in Bolton, its a sony 20gb come down from around £300 to £149.99 - bargain if you ask me.. my mums picking it up for me when she finishes work so *fingers crossed* its a gem =)

Me and Mandy have thought about meeting up in Leeds in the next couple of weeks to go shopping and just have some fun =) think its needed!

Carolyn rang me lastnight from the NME tour in Liverpool with The Killers during "i got soul but i'm not a soldier" sounded fantastic as the crowd were all singing along.. am going to it with Carolyn and Linz on 6th feb in Cardiff.. woo cant wait! =)

Thought id up date my Journal as haven't for a few days, basically because i've had things to keep me occupied and better things to do..

Last wednesday i went to see Keane in Bristol (always feel like putting Brixton but i've already been there to see them durrr =P) it was a great great show! Me and Caroyln arrived there around 2.30ish an it took us a while to find a car park. We did in the end and had abit of parlavor trying to find the academy.. turned out we'd been so close to the damn thing, it was right next door to the ice rink. Why couldnt it be more obvious?! We started queuing pretty early, 3ish as there was a queue forming already and the way one of the security guys were talking it was like we'd have to start queuing because it were going to get busy soon.. it didnt happen though, well not until around 6 anyway but atleast we'd got a space near the front to get our arses to the front barrier! Met up with some boardies to name drop there was Linz, Caroline, Elaine, Drinky, Girid, Krystina, an in the line with us was shelley, a mate she'd met up with an Jakki.. also Liz inside for a few seconds.

Finally got let in and got to the front. The Engineers were the support and unfortunately couldnt hear a word what was being sung. The singer was being drowned out by the music, the drummer sounded alright but well yeah.. might of liked them more if i could actually hear the music/lyrics properly. Also i couldnt take the bassist seriously, the way he was playing it was like he was peforming sexual motions ahaa (linz and krystina will know what i'm talking about there)

Keane came on at 9.30 and the atmosphere was buzzing! Tom had had a haircut along with sporting a new belt and shoes, wahey! They all looked good as usual. We were blessed with the same set list as the tour last year starting off with Cant stop now, and finishing with Bedshaped. In Somewhere only we know, Tom held out his mic for us to sing a whole verse, an yes the crowd did =) it sounded fantastic!

In On a day like today, we decided to blow bubbles and the way it looked was truely amazing! It was just one of those kinda moments were i just thought "yeah, this was the song that suited this motion"

Ignore the date on there, it wasnt set right obviously! I took a lil film of them at the end of the gig waving goodbye. I have to say that in the more slower songs, i had a wave of emotionalness. I wanted to shed a few tears in We might aswell be strangers, OADLT, Hamburg song etc and the most was Bedshaped. Bascially because i knew it was coming to the end and it had been a while since id been surrounded by Keane live. I adore it so much!

After the gig, a suprise happened.. all i'll say is that we got to meet the band an it wasnt outside with other people (was cool of course =) and thanks to Girid for that)

Carolyn and i set off back to Liverpool at around 11ish an got back to hers at 2.30. Hit the sack straight away an had work in a few hours, bleh! Things we do eh, the things we do. I also got a lovely scarf off Linz as a birthday pressi. Thank you hun, i love it =) *hugs*

Weekend - I went to see someone on Saturday and i just want to say i had a lovely time. Went to a gig to see The Paddingtons which i vaguely remember, as id been drinking for about 3 hours before hand heh. Got up from my seat and i could hardly walk straight, ended up falling "up" some steps to the venue.. shameful =p left on Sunday (wish i didnt have too but had too) but just had a great time. I miss your company already but i really hope to see you again soon =) i hate goodbyes =(

Apparently it was the most depressing day for some people today.. wonder if anyone i know had gone through a bad patch (?) i tend to get abit off so i wouldnt notice if it happened to me heh.

I need something to look forward too, there doesnt seem anything until feb i think *sighs*

Looked at my phone on my break at work.. had a text message that i just was not expecting. It was from Carolyn.. it said we were on the guest list. What for i hear you say? What else but Bristol gig to see Keane of course tomorrow =) very very happy and in shock. Is a great birthday suprise (well thats what i'm looking at it as) Heading to Carolyns house in the morning around 9, should only take an hour and then we'll make tracks. Playing it by ear as we havent made any plans of what we'll do, we'll just say hi to people as we see them. Will meet Linz at some point though an Liz i'm sure :)

Work was rather boring, guess it didnt drag that much but it was just the case that i wasnt in my bit again but on the tills =/

I feel like i should have more news to write but if i have then my mind has gone totally blank =O but i do know that i cant wait for saturday to see ************ (no the stars dont add up to a name tis censored =P) but am very much looking forward to it =)

Reet best go and try an work out how to use my dads digital camera for practise for tomorrow, snap happy.. has to be done if i remember. I do like my random pictures hehe!

Not done much it has to be said.. took my mp3 player back as it fucked up lastnight. Luckily managed to get a new one so ive been putting my music on to it all afternoon.. it took a while, and now its filled up and i got 7 albums as presents that i want to put on to it too meh =/ some deleting might have to be done metihnks.

Got some cool pressies, a lovely one from Mandy, it brought tears to my eyes an also the card off my mum and dad. The words inside -

i've had about 4 cans of strongbow so i apologise for any mis- spelt words etc..

had a boring day really.. my mp3 player decided to pack in so now my dad is trying to get it to work.. tried it on windows player to download tracks on to it but it just wont recognise it =/ gutted! i want a new one, so might take it back and get a replacement one... good thing about today is a couple of text messages i got =) they probably dont even read this but would like to say thank you for brightening my day *mwah*

Finding out about Bristol tomora from Carolyn.. keeping everything crossed :s

Its my birthday tomora, my god 19.. wont be long till i'm in me twenties, scary thought! Atleast i dont have to work though, worked on saturday for someone as a favour so they said they'd work monday for me. No idea what i'm getting, hopefully not alot because i got loads for xmas that i just werent expecting..

Mew, what a great band, came to me from Jon - genius! He's got me into a lot of new bands recently that i really love so need to thank him =p

Thirteen Senses got to number 18 in the chart today, great position i say but deserved better... wondering what their next single is going to be *ponders*
